We: • check the fuse for 1)cut the brake input going into BCM (green/yellow, pin 9 on tan connector) 2)pick up brake signal at the 3rd brake light in rear for brake bulbs. 3)use the regular brake/turn in rear for turn signal bulbs. Handbook shows a totally different fusebox so had to look on the net for the correct diagram. It may be too late, but you are going to need to disconnect ALL harnesses from the fuse box, along with all fuses and relays. You will need to spray it all out very quickly with air, and possibly even 99% rubbing alcohol to help extract the moisture. Rice, silica gel (from shoe store) will also help. Posted March 22, 2020. Before switching GEM module, you need to copy all the original settings using elmconfig. Tab GEM and save all 3 pages. Then swap the module. You will notice only the central locking from key has stopped working, even if you have legless depending on what car you got the replacement gem from.
