I'm using koss porta pro as my outdoor headphones but those lack sound isolation. I want to buy some cheap iems (tin hifi t2, t3+, moondrop aria, starfield, price range 50-100$). Does anyone have experience with those iems and can compare them to koss porta pros as I don't want to buy something that will sound trash, be unpleasant to use.
For $29, I was kind of expecting a smaller form factor KSC75, but it’s more like what I’d expect if Koss made the “free” headphones you can get on airplanes. Anemic bass, flat treble (yet still kinda sibilant), and just kinda lacking in any color. If these were an audio format, they’d be a cassette to the Porta Pro CD.
UR21v Ear Cushion. $5.00. Includes three pairs of Porta Pro® replacement ear cushions and three pairs of temple pads.
The Porta Pros Xs: Are identical in almost every way - they do have a thicker, more solid cable, a more solid connector and an inline mic. Are, just as the originals, comfortable and forgettable. Have that great low-end, same as the Porta Pros. Are light and almost weightless, yet still solid for the form factor.

The Sound of Koss - New Colorway, same classic Porta Pro sound. Stay Connected - Take calls and control your music with the in-line microphone, remote & attenuating volume control. Perfect Portability - Porta Pro Limited Edition includes a branded hard-shell case for easy transport
I like the midrange on the porta pro better than most other headphones, so it wins out..just barely. Music: Atticus, Eikon, Aeolus, VO, Argon MK3, Alpha Prime, T50 Mayflower V1, HD650(C.C.Nickel mod), HD800S, MDR-7506
Overall Verdict. The Koss Porta Pro deserves to be merited on its sound quality alone, not just on its absurdly low price tag. But at such an affordable cost this is an easy recommendation for any audiophile, from the beginner to the serious collector. Prepare to be surprised, in a good way.
